The Abriter housing program offers temporary accommodation to pregnant youth and young parents in precarious situations, by providing personalized holistic support within a stable, safe, and dynamic environment, facilitating a transition into autonomy and long-term housing.

The renovations are complete, final touches and cleaning are underway, and we are excited to transform this important space into a warm, welcoming haven to properly welcome our first young mums and their little ones in the early new year!

We simply cannot achieve this feat without YOU! Would you take a moment to browse the opportunities listed below and give as you feel led? We are needing items big and small, from baby cribs to major appliances.

As most of the individuals we serve live in a state of financial difficulty, we desire to furnish this home with NEW items as much as possible, to impart a dignified sense of beauty, safety and even comfort. We will ensure that your donation is maximized and is allocated to the most pressing needs. It takes a village and we can’t do this without YOU!

While making your donation, under DONATION DESIGNATION select ‘MYU Program’ then ‘Abriter’ from the drop down. In the COMMENTS section please indicate the item you would like your gift to go towards.

*Donations made through Montreal Youth Unlimited, our head organization, will receive a tax receipt. All funds donated will benefit specified Abriter campaigns, programming and operations.
